First one i’ve ever noticed in Middlesbrough, although it makes sense when you consider all the very highly appointed Victorian Villas that were in the immediate area, this one actually sports a crown on the top.

There is also a stench pipe, hidden by trees, at the top of Marton Burn Road on the left hand side as you enter from Belle Vue end.

this is on marton grove road not burn road as thats other side of grove hill needs the water badge taking off

We have one with a crown, my husband painted it cream with a black crown. Its a nice feature, we love it.
