Its been a while since I found a ‘new’ stench pipe but I know they have a special place the hearts of a couple of readers.
This lovely example is on Marton Burn Road.

Hey, not sure if you already know, but there is another stench pipe on Keith road in middlesbrough, in between saltersgill avenue and Woodville avenue.
Just thought that it was worth mentioning
