Numerous sources state the Redcar Windmill had six sails, but photographs seem elusive.

Old Lookout, South Terrace, Redcar

The central houses on South Terrace still have a fishermans lookout post, although its view of the sea is now obscured by subsequent buildings.The Old Lookout, South Terrace, Redcar 

The houses were built in 1854 and have also been known as Fishermans Row and Zetland Square.

The last one i’ve seen, on Park Avenue. Has a makers mark of Needham Stockport.

I would imagine this one is later than the ones in Coatham as the area would have been developed around 1920-1930

The photo was taken a few years ago before the redevelopment of Coatham Enclosure, it looks like the pipe was removed during that work.

This anchor stood outside Redcar swimming baths for many years, it has recently been refurbished and moved by the ‘Friends of Redcar Cemetery’
